Last night, I had the pleasure of photographing engagement portraits of my June wedding clients, Jolene & Paul, here in Winona, MN. While the weather wasn’t as warm as it was supposed to be, it didn’t prevent us from getting some great portraits! These two are in LOVE and the smiles on their faces prove it.
**FYI - all of the following portraits are SOOC (Straight Out Of Camera), unless noted otherwise**
Here’s an enhanced black & white:

Being still pretty early in the Spring, there isn’t much for color in the trees. However, we found a nice evergreen and managed to get some nice color in the photo.

The next three photos are a perfect example of how these two were the whole time. Just looking at each other caused them both to smile so genuinely.

I mean, c’mon - look at these faces! You can see the happiness in their eyes…

We finished up near the bottom of the hillside along in Winona. All the leaves from Fall were still on the ground. The trees were still bare, but it made for a nice, private area where this last engagement photo was taken.
I look forward to working with you both in June as your wedding photographer, Jolene & Paul. Take care!!
