When you see the love of your life, not only when you see them for the first time on your wedding day but every single time you see each other, you need to react like this…

I think we could all take a lesson from Molly & Stan. Don’t you? Continue to see Molly & Stan’s wedding photos
Life works in mysterious ways sometimes. The reason I say this is because you’ll never know what the future may bring or who’ll you meet. Again.
Now bare with me as I feel I have to tell this little story & the reason I say this is because years ago, as a child, I used to visit & stay with my grandparents during my summer vacation in a small town of Hudson, IA. It was like having a second home with another whole group of childhood friends. Granted now with Facebook, I can chat & see what those old friends are up to and see how their lives have changed since we were kids running around Hudson. I have so many great memories from that time in my life. It was amazing.

Love is magical.
Taken at Whitewater State Park near Elba, MN.

I think it’s truly a beautiful sight when you can watch someone look at the person that they love and you can feel that love & emotion. This is what I felt every time Kim & Allen looked at each other on their wedding day.
Now at the same time, it’s kind of funny when you shoot a high school friend’s wedding. Especially when you’ve shared a number of good times with each other. And what’s even better, is the guest list included some of those other high school friends who helped make those good times even better. You see, I’ve known Allen for years and his Best Man was my childhood neighbor and needless to say – we’ve had our fun in our day. To make it even better, Kim’s sisters and friends are just as goofy as our friends were/are. It’s literally a perfect match.
Mix all of this with a day that started pretty dreary, yet come the time of the wedding, the clouds parted and the sun shined bright the rest of their wedding day. Add in loving family & friends to help you celebrate and you’ve got one beautiful wedding. Continue for Kim & Allen’s wedding photos

My wife & I met for the first time while employed at the same company and never really talked to each until we had a company Christmas party around 5-6 months later. A little over a year after that party, we were married. We’re coming up on our 10 year anniversary this coming January. The reason I bring this up is, Katie & Scott met while working for the same organization and as they say – the rest was history.
It seemed like a perfect setting for the ceremony at Katie’s parent’s home. You can’t make it any more personal than that. I also wonder what it felt like to get ready in the same room you grew up in. From the weather, the personal setting of the home crowded by all the family & friends, the beautiful details & decor added by Weddings By Nancy, the lovely music by the Seven River Strings Quartet, bouquets & floral from Flowers On Broadway, service at Visions Event Center and to the live reception music by Incognito – the day really came together perfectly for two of the nicest people.
Please enjoy the photos of Katie & Scott’s beautiful wedding day…
