First off, you can call me - Porter. Just the last name, Porter. Everyone calls me Porter. Been called Porter since the fourth grade. All my friends call me Porter. My parents even call me Porter! Well, sometimes. Main reason for this is, my wife and I share the same first name, Shannon. Yes, I know, that's odd, different and kind of neat, all at once - and no, our kids are not named Shannon either. Since everyone I know calls me Porter, so can you. I mean, you could call me Sally too, if you wanted, but that's my mom's name... but anyways...

Living in Winona, Minnesota - happily married with my beautiful wife and two wonderful children - I understand and know first hand how important photography can be in one's life. Photography is one of the only things that can bring you back to a certain moment in our lives. Whether its the photo of a bride looking so stunning in her exquisite wedding dress or the playful look on a toddler's face or even the last years of a child in their last year of high school and becoming an adult, these moments are priceless in one's life. I capture these moments. Sometimes photos are all we have to remember a special place we've been to or even more important - someone who has a special place in our hearts.
